Wentzell

An extremely tasty and very rare beefsteak tomato grown since the 1850s (!) by generations of the Wentzell family, who were the original homesteaders of what is now Windhorse Farm in Lunenburg County, Canada. 

From Annapolis Seeds’ collection of northern-adapted tomato varieties – the large red-pink fruit have an excellent flavour, one of the best we have, and grow really well for us.

Short vines to about 4ft, tolerant of shorter/cooler summers.
